THE PENDULUM METHOD:
This tip was given to me over 40 years ago and I still use it to this day to determine the sex of my seeds before I plant.....some may pass it off as an old wives tale.....but for me personally I have a 95% success rate and I would like to pass it on to you all with the hope that it can give you the same success!
I believe in the old school way of growing ( I also plant by the moon) I am not into the scientific approach to anything....If something works Istick with it.
All you need is a piece of string and a weight....( I use a necklace) using the hand that you use for writing ....hold the string between your thumb and index finger so that the weight is about 4" above the seed....wait for a while.....and observe whether the weight swings side to side (male) or goes around in circles (female)....this method works for all living plants and beings and for most people ..... But I have come across a few people that it does not work for.
For those that would be interested in giving it a go....I would love to hear how it went

Pendulums have been around for thousands of years. The ancient Chinese used the pendulum principle to try and help predict earthquakes.
Galileo Galilei was the first European to really study pendulums and he discovered that their regularity could be used for keeping time, leading to the first clocks
In 1656, the Dutch inventor and mathematician, Huygens, was the first man to successfully build an accurate clock.
